The participants in the top 3 Language Arts classes in the school that read the most VRC books (per capita of the participants) by the cut off date win a Pizza Party!
BONUS: Grade Level SWEEP!!! If one grade sweeps first, second, and third place, all of the participants in that grade will be invited for an After School Movie Party.
Participant= Read and show understanding of at least 1 book.
Understanding of books must be shown by taking and passing an Accelerated Reader test.

7th Grade Reading Program! Accelerated Reader!
The purpose of the Accelerated Reader Program is to motivate 7th grade students to read for both educational and recreational purposes. Students are encouraged to choose from a variety of genres.
Students wishing to check out Accelerated Reader titles from Porter Library may consult the “H.H. Poole Accelerated Reader Book List,” which is available in the Young Adult Department.
